Watford Mencap has asked the people we support across services to get involved in the February Challenge. They will be walking 12 miles or doing 12 of their favourite things through out February to raise funds for Watford Mencap.

Watford Mencap

Watford & District Mencap supports around 600 local children and adults with learning disabilities, with services ranging from residential homes, groups and outings, free advice & information, community training café and a wide range of children’s clubs and activities. All of the funds raised will go towards supporting these vital services in Watford and surrounding areas.

Watford Mencap is a special place offering respite to families. One parent recently said “We love our son with all our heart but Watford Mencap gives us the respite we need to look after ourselves so we can look after him. He enjoys every moment of being there. Just short amounts of time not being a carer can make all the difference”
